Today’s sake is a classic of the classic: Sake from Murakami City, Niigata Prefecture, called SNAKEIHARIZURU.The rice polishing ratio is 50%.The alcohol level is 15 degrees. The rice used is called Gohyakumangoku.
The price is unknown since my father gave it to me, but I think it is probably within 2,000 yen.
When I opened the bottle, I could smell the aroma of koji rice.I have hay fever since yesterday, so I am not very sensitive to smells, but it has a unique aroma of sake. There is no gas at all.
The color looks a little yellowish, but it is rather close to .It is extremely sharp. There is no unnecessary sweetness, and the original flavor of the rice is fully appreciated.I think the same can be said about the aftertaste of Nabeshima.Nabeshima has a fruity sweet/sour mix in the middle, but I think there is something similar to this sake at the end.
There is nothing at all that says “I’m not a fan of this sake”.It really feels like the sweetness has been removed from the rice.I think you can taste the original flavor of the rice.
This is one that you can go with salt.I lick a mouthful of the flavor salt and drink it.The flavor spreads all over my mouth. This is delicious 🍶.
