SAKE SYARAKU JYUNMAI Nama

Sake

Walking in silence and contemplation along the ridge line of the Morikawa forest road for about two hours.

I returned to the Taura Station area.I I had no energy to walk to Keikyu Taura Station, let alone walk there at all.I had no energy, so I took a bus.

Anyway, I picked up the bus along the highway and continued to ride the bus to Oppama Station on the Keihin Kyuko Line.

After having a bowl of ramen at a ramen shop in front of the Oppama station, I took the Keikyu to Kanazawabunko Station.

I went into my favorite liquor store to buy some more of the Nabeshima sake I had purchased the previous week, New Moon, but couldn’t.

However, the only Nabeshima that remained was the honjozo, as all the junmai ginjyo and special junmai were sold out.

Since it was the season for year-end parties, there must have been a considerable amount of purchases not only by regular customers like us, but also by stores.

Feeling a little disappointed, I decided that there is no way and looked for other sake.

Then,I felt that I had not tasted Sharaku recently, so I looked at the shelf where Sharaku was displayed and saw that the first pressing Junmai-shu Sharaku was on the shelf.I decided to buy it first.

Pouring it into a cup, I found the color to be clearer than I had expected.

The sake is made in Aizuwakamatsu City, Fukushima Prefecture, by Miyazumi Shuzo Co.The alcohol content is 16%.This is something I have been feeling lately, that even one degree of alcohol seems too strong for me.Personally, I find sake tastes best at 15 degrees.I still feel the alcohol content is too strong at 16 degrees.

When I drink it, I feel a sweet aroma like vanilla. From there, the difference of one degree makes you feel the alcohol content is too strong. It is a bit of a waste that we cannot feel the lingering aftertaste of the sake for a long time. The overall balance of the sake is shown in the graph below, but I need a keyboard to convert the graph to an image and paste it from my iPad, so please bear with me for a while.

sweetness:5/5
umami :4/5(fifth category of taste, corresponding to the flavour of glutamates)
fruity:4/5
Acidity:1/5
Balance:3/5

Vanilla-like aroma and reminds me of Japanese sweets. The elegant sweetness makes it easy to drink and almost opens the bottle. As a food sake, it goes well with sashimi, oden, and all kinds of Japanese food.I mean It goes well with Japanese food in general.

It also goes well with chicken, pork, and cheese. It is probably suitable for women to drink as an introductory sake.It is a good sake for women to drink as an introduction to Sake.
