AKABU

This time it is AKABU, a sake from Iwate Prefecture.
I had tried it once in Shanghai, but it was not well preserved and did not taste good, so this is my first time trying it in Japan. The alcohol content is 15% and the rice polishing trade is 60%.It requires refrigeration.

The label is weathered plastic or rubber,Let’s open it.

There is quite a lot of gas.I heard a pushing sound when I opened it.The aroma is quite sweet. The spring comes out when I put my foot on it.The fragrance is not that much. It’s not as sweet smelling or as dry.

It is quite sweet when you take a sip.It has a sharpness to it, but I don’t find it to be very spicy.I would say that the gas tube is moderate. If I say it’s sweet, it’s sweet, but it also feels like it cuts.

Since it is junmai sake, it is cosmetically pleasing and costs 1400 yen without tax.

Today, I will pair it with pickled cucumbers. The saltiness of the cucumber matches the sweetness of the red and the flavor spreads in your mouth. Will it match with tomatoes sprinkled with pepper and salt? There are tomatoes and coarsely ground pepper.I put a little too much pepper on it, so the tomato by itself is delicious, but I don’t think it would go well with the turnip because the spiciness of the pepper is contrary to the taste of the turnip.

But this is a taste I would recommend to people who are new to sake.Because while the sweetness makes it very easy to drink.

In terms of cost performance, I can say that the Wakayama Prefecture KID and this Iwate Prefecture grave that I drank last time are very cost-effective.It is hard to believe that such a good sake can be bought for less than 1,500 yen.
